Wonderful Wednesday

The preschoolers started their day by coloring a Mother’s Day page for mom! Many of them took their time while coloring to make it extra beautiful for mom!

During circle time, we did a movement activity in which the preschoolers moved around the classroom like bugs. They had fun flying, squirming and creepy crawling! After that we read a book called “The Very Busy Spider” by Eric Carle.

During center time, we made some creepy crawly spiders. The preschoolers used a toilet paper tube to make the spider’s body and then used a paintbrush and black paint to make the eight legs. The preschoolers then used glue to put some eyes on each spider! Many of these were not dry so they will stay at school!

Pastor Biber led us in a chapel about The Lord’s Prayer. The preschoolers sang their “I Am Unique” song for the second time in chapel and have come such a long way since last week!

Don’t forget that book orders are due Friday, May 6th!

Have a great evening!
