Wonderful Wednesday

The preschoolers started their day buy using dobbers on the letter D. We made sure to emphasize that dobber starts with D!

During circle time, we had a snowball fight! The preschoolers were given a piece of white paper with a letter written on it. The preschoolers were asked to identify the letter. After that, they crumpled it up and we tossed them into the middle at the same time! We repeated this a few times!

We did not have chapel today, as Pastor Biber was out of town! We took time today to discuss prayer. We talked about some things we could pray for or about. Our list consisted of praying for our friends, grandparents, pets and for our pet if they get sick.

Our centers of the day were:
-using white playdough to create and dress snowmen
-D dobber sheet
-snowball counting using dice
-raking and shoveling snowballs
-snow sensory tub

Our project of the day was to create snowflakes. We glued strips of paper into X’s and then glued the X’s together. After that we used Q-Tips to paint on the snowflakes. These were sent home in folders today!

Friday is a half day (12:30) for full day students!

There is no school on Monday, January 18th in honor of MLK Jr. Day.

See some of you tomorrow!
