The preschoolers started their day by writing in their notebooks.
During circle time we talked about another way to stay safe in the summertime; by wearing sunglasses. Although this doesn’t seem like a safety rule, we realized that it is very important to protect our eyes from the sun.
This discussion inspired our project of the day. The preschoolers used tissue paper and sunglasses cutouts to make their own sunglasses. The sunglasses cutout was attached to contact paper so the tissue paper would stick and then it would stick to the window as a display.
Pastor Biber led us in chapel today. We talked about Pentecost and how the Holy Spirit helped the disciples speak to people in many different languages. Pastor talked to the preschoolers in Portuguese and many of them were confused as to what he was saying. What a great example to help us better understand the story.
See many of you tomorrow!
