So far this week, Pete the Cat has been a HUGE hit! The kiddos love hearing Pete the Cat stories and love singing the songs that go along with it! They ask to hear the story over and over again!
During centers the preschoolers rotated around in groups of 2 or 3. The centers they visited were the kitchen center (dramatic play), the rice table (sensory), geoboards (fine motor and math) and a Pete the Cat shoe matching game (math and ABC).
We sat down after centers and did a dobber sheet. We used our dobbers to make the letter O. While dobbing we tried to think of some words that start with the letter O.
After that, we made a Pete the Cat headband. The preschoolers listened for directions so they knew what piece to pick up and glue on. They were so excited when the headband was finished and they could wear it.
During Jesus time we learned a fingerplay. We used our fingers to tell a part of our story of the Israelites in the desert. We also read some words from the Bible. We talked about how God always provides us with what we need. The preschoolers truly enjoy Jesus time.
See some of you tomorrow!
